With the following i will try to make you understand and maybe plan your next holiday on Romanian land.

We have the "omenie" thing.
No, it's not an omen. It's about being human. It's about helping the one you don't know. It's about being nice to others. Out of pure empathy. It's about laying a table for the foreign visitor you didn't know about 2 minutes ago. It's about putting a bottle of fresh water near the road in a "troita", (a small wooden refuge decorated with a cross, where the tired traveler can stop and refresh himself) - you can still find this in some villages.
It's about forgiving the one that hurt you.
It's about letting it pass and it's about hoping for the best
even when things are really bad.
We have beautiful landscapes, mountains, intelligent people and great ideas.

We are an optimist nation.
We have "tuica" and wine.
We laugh a lot.

Anyone with a sense of business can probably make a lot of money here. Not too many businesses, not too many ideas and certainly not a lot of competition. In my opinion it's a wonderful place to start a business, and through bad and good times remember one thing: you can always find friends here.
They are the ones you can talk to when you are sad and bitter, or happy and cheerful. And for what they're worth...they are your Romania. I love mine.
